Tom Lee’s AI Crypto Bull Case Puts BMNR in Focus - BitMine Immersion (NYSE:BMNR)

Tom Lee’s latest crypto bull case is no longer just about Bitcoin (CRYPTO:$BTC) prices. At Korea Blockchain Week on Sept. 30, the BitMine Immersion Technologies, Inc. (NYSE:BMNR) chairman pointed to tokenization, institutional inflows, generational wealth transfer and AI agents using digital money as forces that could make this crypto cycle larger than previous ones.

AI Is Joining the Crypto Trade

Lee’s argument is that crypto is becoming infrastructure for a broader digital economy, rather than simply a bet on another Bitcoin rally. He highlighted the growing use of blockchain for tokenization and argued that AI agents could eventually need digital money to transact autonomously.

That creates a different potential demand source for crypto. An AI agent that needs to pay for data, software or other digital services cannot operate exactly like a human using a bank account or credit card. Lee sees blockchains and digital assets increasingly filling that gap.

Tokenization is the other major piece. Lee pointed to traditional financial institutions moving assets onto blockchains as evidence that crypto infrastructure is becoming more closely connected to mainstream finance. BitMine has separately said it expects tokenization and agentic AI to provide tailwinds for institutional crypto participation.
