Approximately $150 million (~200 billion won) flowed out of the US Bitcoin spot exchange-traded fund (ETF) market in a single day, ending a 10-trading-day streak of net inflows and flipping to net outflows.

According to data compiled by Trader T on October 1 (local time), US Bitcoin spot ETFs collectively saw net outflows of $148.69 million the previous day. By product, Fidelity's FBTC led the exodus with $125.58 million (~170 billion won) in withdrawals. BlackRock's IBIT shed $9.48 million (~13 billion won), and Bitwise's BITB lost $13.63 million (~19 billion won). The remaining products recorded no net flows.

With this outflow, cumulative net inflows for September totaled $2.65 billion (~3.6 trillion won). However, year-to-date cumulative net inflows stand at just $930.4 million (~1.3 trillion won), indicating that flows remain limited when viewed from the start of the year.

Ethereum ETFs Turned Earlier

A day before Bitcoin ETFs, on September 29, Ethereum spot ETFs also ended their streak of consecutive net inflows. Ethereum ETFs posted net outflows of $2.8 million (~3.8 billion won) that day. BlackRock's ETHA lost $8.9 million (~12 billion won) and Fidelity's FETH shed $6.7 million (~9.1 billion won), while Grayscale's Ethereum product attracted $12.8 million (~17 billion won), partially offsetting the losses.
