Forecast Trend Report by Period

US spot-Bitcoin exchange-traded funds recorded net inflows for a fifth straight trading session.

Data from SoSoValue showed the 13 US-listed spot-Bitcoin ETFs took in a combined $307.45 million on Aug. 21.

The funds have posted net inflows for five consecutive trading days, with $297.56 million on Aug. 17, $189.30 million on Aug. 18, $507.19 million on Aug. 19, $606.29 million on Aug. 20 and $307.45 million on Aug. 21. Total net inflows over the five sessions reached $1.91779 billion, bringing cumulative net inflows across all ETFs to $53.71 billion.

BlackRock's IBIT drew the most money, with $239.28 million in inflows. Fidelity's FBTC took in $30.19 million, followed by Grayscale Bitcoin Mini Trust's BTC with $13.62 million, Bitwise's BITB with $9.21 million, Morgan Stanley's MSBT with $7.73 million, VanEck's HODL with $4.36 million and Ark Invest's ARKB with $3.07 million. Seven funds posted net inflows.

The remaining six ETFs, including Grayscale's GBTC, recorded zero flows.

Why this matters

The sustained inflow streak signals continued institutional demand for regulated Bitcoin exposure, with BlackRock's IBIT accounting for most of the latest daily intake. Persistent ETF buying could affect spot-market liquidity and reinforces the importance of fund flows as a driver of Bitcoin market positioning.
