The positive outlook revolves around improving spot Bitcoin ETF demand, institutional accumulation, and a recovery from the lows recorded over the summer. Likewise, Bitcoin’s historically strong October performance also supports the outlook, although elevated oil prices, bond-market volatility, and recent interest-rate increases could limit the rally.

Also worth mentioning is that the Bitcoin Rainbow Chart suggests $BTC could reach as high as $153,000 by October 31 while remaining relatively undervalued, and Citi recently raised its 12-month Bitcoin target from $83,000 to $113,000.

2. Ethereum

Ethereum ($ETH) is another cryptocurrency worth watching as October progresses, although its setup is a bit more cautiously bullish than that of Bitcoin. Up 10% over the past month, its move is largely being driven by a broader crypto rally, ETF inflows, which outpaced those of Bitcoin significiantly, and an improving altcoin market.

The immediate price outlook hinges on the $2,690 support level. If $ETH holds above its 7-day moving average near $2,690, the cryptocurrency could retest the $2,775-2,800 resistance zone this month. A sustained break above $2,800 would strengthen the bullish case and potentially open the way toward $3,000.
