The company plans to invest $113,000 and create 19 jobs in Arlington’s Ballston neighborhood.
Phasecraft develops software and algorithms for quantum computers, with potential uses in materials research, chemical modeling and energy-sector technology.
The company said it chose Virginia because of the area’s workforce, research universities and proximity to government and industry partners.
“Virginia continues to grow as a global hub for cutting-edge companies and groundbreaking technologies,” Spanberger said.
The expansion comes as Phasecraft grows its work with federal agencies.
