Un juge fédéral a autorisé la poursuite de certaines parties d'un recours collectif d'investisseurs contre Coinbase et certains dirigeants, maintenant en vie devant le tribunal les allégations concernant les divulgations de risques.

La juge de district américaine Katherine Polk Failla a statué le 20 août que certaines réclamations pourraient passer en phase de discovery. Le tribunal a rejeté plusieurs réclamations mais a autorisé la poursuite des allégations selon lesquelles Coinbase aurait trompé les investisseurs en dissimulant des risques potentiels de faillite et en minimisant la surveillance de la SEC.
