The 30-credit program was created by Drexel to help empower Comcast’s executives with the skills and tools to leverage AI in broad-ranging facets of business, from strategic planning to customer engagement, operational efficiency and workforce development.
Following a rapid program-development period, the first cohort of 35 employees representing a range of disciplines across Comcast began their studies in September 2025. The second cohort started the program in August 2026.
The program includes residency-based in-person classes and online classes with a total of 16 newly-designed courses across five semesters to earn the new degree.
“This program is a remarkably intuitive and successful outcome based on the long-standing professional partnership between Comcast and Drexel,” said Vibhas Madan, PhD, dean and R. John Chapel Jr. Dean’s Chair of the LeBow College of Business. “I couldn’t be more pleased that we’re now collaborating to advance executive education that helps Comcast leaders harness AI for strategic innovation.”
