The crypto bull run everyone waited for may now have a date on the calendar. The U.S. Senate is set to hold its first real vote on the CLARITY Act on September 15, per CNBC on September 1.

If it passes, crypto gets the first clear rulebook in its history. Bitcoin is up 22% since early August, and spot ETFs pulled $3.8 billion in three weeks, per CoinMarketCap on September 7.

The big coins are grabbing the news. But while the headlines focus on the names everyone knows, something smaller is building right below. Pepeto passed the $10.9 million mark, runs a live exchange and is heading toward a Binance listing.

Will the CLARITY Act Vote Start the Crypto Bull Run?

The Senate votes on September 15 to decide if the CLARITY Act moves to the floor, per CNBC. The bill tells the market which coins are goods and which are treated as stocks. It passed the House in July 2025 with 294 votes, per The Motley Fool on August 22.

Senator Lummis warned on September 6 that if the bill fails this year, clear crypto rules will not come until 2030. The vote needs 60 senators to move forward.

Unresolved issues include ethics rules tied to the president’s crypto ties. A yes vote gives the entire market a green light. A no vote sends it back into the gray area where it has been stuck for years.
