Stablecoin FDUSD has been listed on HashKey Exchange, a Hong Kong digital-asset bourse, allowing professional investors to trade it directly against the US dollar and use it in Bitcoin and Ether transactions.

First Digital Labs said in a Sept. 1 press release that HashKey Exchange has added FDUSD and now supports three spot trading pairs: FDUSD/USD, BTC/FDUSD and ETH/FDUSD.

HashKey Exchange holds a license from Hong Kong’s Securities and Futures Commission. Trading in the newly supported pairs is limited to professional investors.

“Hong Kong is establishing itself as an important hub in Asia’s regulated markets,” Vincent Chok, founder and chief executive officer of First Digital, said. He added that stablecoins are creating new opportunities to connect fiat liquidity with on-chain markets.

First Digital also said it plans to continue expanding support for FDUSD across exchanges, blockchain networks and payment services.
