Les actions de Nvidia abordent l'un des rapports sur les résultats les plus surveillés de l'année sous une pression inhabituelle. NVDA a clôturé vendredi à $214.75, prolongeant son déclin à six séances consécutives : la plus longue série de pertes de l'action depuis 2022.

Le repli reste modeste en termes de pourcentage. Nvidia a chuté d'environ 4.7% par rapport à sa clôture du 13 août à $225.30, la plupart des pertes quotidiennes étant inférieures à 1%. Pourtant, la vente persistante se démarque après que les actions de l'IA ont aidé à porter l'ensemble du secteur technologique plus tôt ce mois-ci.

La croissance des bénéfices n'est pas la préoccupation principale

Nvidia publiera ses résultats du deuxième trimestre fiscal le mercredi 26 août. L'entreprise a prévu un chiffre d'affaires d'environ $91 milliards, plus ou moins 2%, après avoir affiché un chiffre d'affaires record au premier trimestre de $81.6 milliards.

Wall Street reste massivement optimiste. Les analystes suivis par TipRanks ont maintenu un consensus de Strong Buy, tandis que Bank of America a maintenu un objectif de $350. Cet optimisme est conforme aux prévisions de Nvidia à plus long terme basées sur une demande soutenue pour Blackwell et la prochaine plateforme Rubin.
