MENLO PARK, California, August 25, 2026, 17:50 EDT – Robinhood’s (HOOD) share price rose 8.2%, with a rally in bitcoin helping boost the company’s market value by $7.6 billion.

  • Robinhood finished regular trading at $112.09, gaining 8.17%, before slipping 0.43% in after-hours trade by 17:41 EDT.
  • Bitcoin climbed to $81,237.94, marking its strongest value since mid-May.
  • The share price increase boosted the quoted equity value by around $7.62 billion.

Robinhood Markets, Inc. (NASDAQ: HOOD) surged 8.17% to close at $112.09 on Tuesday. The $8.47 increase boosted its quoted equity valuation by about $7.62 billion, calculated from 899.08 million shares in circulation market data.

Digital assets provided the initial momentum. Bitcoin reached a peak of $81,237.94 before falling back under $80,400 in U.S. trading hours. This marked its strongest level since mid-May Reuters.

Robinhood’s jump in valuation far outpaced its most recent cryptocurrency revenue. The company’s single-day increase in equity value was roughly 76 times higher than the $100 million earned from crypto transactions in the last quarter.

The gap reflects expectations rather than current earnings. Traders anticipate an upswing in volumes and customer activity following a sluggish July for crypto.
