BitMine Chairman Tom Lee said Ethereum may extend its rally through the rest of this year, driven by policy developments and fresh capital inflows. He said Ether could reach $6,000 if Bitcoin climbs to $150,000 and the ETH-BTC ratio recovers to 0.04.

BlockBeats reported on August 31 that Lee, speaking in a recent interview on The Milk Road Show, said asset tokenization and AI agent finance will be the crypto market's defining trends over the next five years. He added that Ethereum could emerge as the foundational payments and settlement layer for the global financial system.

Lee pointed to four catalysts for Ethereum in the remainder of this year: the possibility that the US CLARITY Act passes in September; the return of over-the-counter short positions and sidelined capital to the market; a reallocation of Asian capital into crypto assets; and heavier crypto buying by global institutional investors under quarterly performance pressure.

He also said the ETH-BTC ratio could revisit its previous peak of 0.08. Even a recovery to 0.04, which he described as a conservative case, would imply an Ether price of $6,000 if Bitcoin reaches $150,000.

Lee also kept a bullish long-term view on Bitcoin. Still, he said the bigger forces shaping the crypto market over the next five years will be a supercycle of broad asset tokenization and AI agent finance.
