The late-August rally kept drawing fresh institutional money.
Bitcoin ETFs pushed past the $100 billion asset mark, ether posted another heavy inflow day, and solana delivered one of the standout performances among altcoin funds. The buying was broad enough to lift every major crypto ETF category tracked for the session.
Bitcoin Breaks the $100 Billion Barrier
Bitcoin ETFs attracted $242.24 million, led by a $277.61 million inflow into Blackrock’s IBIT.
ARK 21Shares’ ARKB added $29.75 million, while Bitwise’s BITB brought in $21.74 million. Grayscale’s Bitcoin Mini Trust received $11.66 million, Morgan Stanley’s MSBT added $6.66 million, and Vaneck’s HODL drew $5.66 million.
Those gains absorbed sizeable withdrawals elsewhere. Fidelity’s FBTC lost $83.63 million, while Grayscale’s GBTC posted a $27.21 million outflow. Trading value reached $3.45 billion. Combined net assets climbed to $100.93 billion, crossing the $100 billion threshold.
