CoinMarketCap's Alice Liu says eight straight ETF inflow sessions no longer say much about the size of the bid, as short-dated Bitcoin conviction fades faster than price.

Investorideas.com (www.investorideas.com newswire) a trusted go-to platform for big investing ideas, including crypto and defense stocks issues market commentary from CoinMarketCap's Market Pulse.

"US spot Bitcoin ETFs have now taken in money for eight straight sessions, but the daily figure has fallen from $999 million to $31 million in six prints. A streak is still a streak; it just no longer tells you much about the size of the bid underneath it."

"The year-end ladder did not flinch: a $90,000 touch by December is still priced at 68% and the 50/50 strike sits near $94,900. Short-dated conviction collapsed this week while long-dated conviction held, and that gap is where the market's actual disagreement lives." - Alice Liu, Head of Research at CoinMarketCap

CMC exclusive insight: Bitcoin's near-term optimism fades faster than its price

CoinMarketCap's analysis of Polymarket's Bitcoin markets shows a sharp retreat in short-term expectations, while longer-term pricing remains more resilient.

The market-implied probability of Bitcoin touching $85,000 before the end of September fell from 91% to 42% over three days. Bitcoin's price declined only about 1.2% over the same period, from $84,782 to $83,795. Meanwhile, the probability of a dip to $82,500 was broadly unchanged, at 36% versus 37%.
