Bitcoin price traded near $79,826 on Sept. 6, remaining below the $82,000 resistance area. TradingView data showed BTC failed to hold an earlier move above $80,000.
The setup kept the price of Bitcoin inside a broad recovery range after August’s advance. Analysts focused on whether buyers could reclaim $82,000 or lose nearby support around $78,500.
Bitcoin Price Holds Below $82,000 Resistance
TradingView’s Bitstamp chart showed Bitcoin near $79,826 at 07:42 UTC on Sept. 6. The session opened around $79,830 and reached an intraday high near $80,106.

The same chart showed an intraday low around $79,600 before BTC recovered modestly. Binance Market Data earlier placed BTC at $80,067.44 at 01:40 UTC.
That Binance reading represented a 0.56% gain over the previous 24 hours. However, later TradingView pricing showed sellers had pushed BTC back below $80,000.
Binance’s Sept. 5 market update showed a wider $78,660 to $81,423 trading range. That range kept $82,000 outside the confirmed breakout zone.
