The crypto news this week dropped two signals that almost never land at the same time. Ethereum's daily chart formed a golden cross, the 50 day moving average crossing above the 200 day for the first time in months per CoinDesk, a pattern that historically kicks off extended rallies. Bitcoin closed August up 24.95% according to CoinGlass, the best August since 2017 and the first green August since 2021. And $1.5 billion in token unlocks hit the first week of September across Hyperliquid, Ethena, and Sui per BeInCrypto, adding supply pressure right as the market enters its weakest month on record.
While the crypto news swings between golden crosses and unlock risk, a presale built by the architect of the original Pepe has filled past $10.9 million with a Binance listing expected on the horizon, and the wallets entering now are not debating September because the presale math works no matter which way the charts move.
