What an ETF Inflow Number Actually Measures

A spot ETF is a fund that holds the underlying asset and issues shares against it. Net inflow is the daily balance of primary-market creations (new shares issued when authorized participants deliver cash or the asset) minus redemptions. Aggregators such as Coinpedia, SoSoValue and Farside publish the number the next morning. The bullish read is straightforward: a positive inflow number means the wrapper absorbed more coin than it released, so somewhere upstream a desk had to source XRP to back new shares.
