MENLO PARK, Calif.—Robinhood is expanding its prediction-markets business through a partnership with Crypto.com and its recently spun-off OG.com platform, adding another venue through which customers can trade event contracts, according to Reuters and Axios.

Under the multiyear agreement, Robinhood began routing selected football event contracts Sept. 8 to OG.com, which operates a Commodity Futures Trading Commission-regulated exchange and clearinghouse. Robinhood is also taking equity stakes in both Crypto.com and OG.com. Financial terms were not disclosed, although Robinhood said the Crypto.com equity will be priced in line with a recent Citadel Securities investment that valued Crypto.com Group at $20 billion.

“Routing event contracts to multiple venues helps create a stronger, more diverse and resilient marketplace,” JB Mackenzie, vice president and general manager of futures and prediction markets at Robinhood, said.

Robinhood will continue routing event contracts through Kalshi, ForecastEX and Rothera, its CFTC-licensed exchange and clearinghouse created through a joint venture with Susquehanna International Group.

The expansion comes as prediction markets have become a rapidly growing business for Robinhood. The company said customers traded 13.6 billion event contracts during the second quarter and more than 30 billion during the first eight months of 2026. More than 45 billion contracts have traded since Robinhood launched prediction markets roughly two years ago. The expansion also comes amid continuing legal and regulatory disputes over event contracts, including questions over the respective authority of federal commodities regulators and state gaming regulators, Axios reported.
