T. Rowe Price entered the crypto ETF market on July 16 with the launch of TKNZ, an actively managed fund holding a basket of digital assets. The Baltimore-based firm oversees roughly $1.9 trillion in client assets and has been managing money for approximately 90 years. The fund trades on NYSE Arca under the ticker TKNZ.

The

product

differs from existing spot crypto ETFs in two ways. It holds multiple tokens rather than a single asset. It is also actively managed, meaning portfolio managers can shift allocations based on research, market conditions, and risk assessments rather than tracking a fixed index. T. Rowe Price said the strategy is designed to follow shifts in market leadership as capital moves between different cryptocurrencies.

How the Portfolio Is Currently Allocated

The fund launched with roughly $15 million in assets. Bitcoin (
