The Senate votes on cloture for the CLARITY Act at 2:15pm ET on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, and cloture needs 60 votes to open floor debate on H.R. 3633. The Federal Open Market Committee announces its rate call at 2pm ET the following afternoon, with a quarter-point hike already priced into futures.

The Senate vote is a regulatory binary that does the most for XRP, whose classification was litigated in court, and the least for Bitcoin, whose status was never in doubt. Solana has the most riding on the Fed decision, then XRP, then Ethereum, and Bitcoin again the least.
