The gap between where XRP trades and where institutional money is flowing has rarely looked wider. The token hovered near $1.40 on Sunday, consolidating in a tight band between $1.35 and $1.42 after a blistering run from sub-$1 levels to an intraday peak of $1.70 in a matter of days. The 1.2% daily gain does little to mask the underlying jitters that have gripped the market since last week's pullback.

Fund Flows Tell a Different Story
While spot traders wrestle with direction, the institutional bid for XRP exposure shows no signs of fatigue. The week of August 24-28 delivered net inflows of $110.49 million into XRP ETFs — the strongest weekly showing since December 2025. That pushed cumulative net inflows since the funds' inception to an all-time high of $1.66 billion.
Bitwise leads the pack with roughly $600 million in assets under management, trailed by Canary at $483 million and Franklin Templeton at just under $463 million. Bitwise also pulled an additional $15.4 million worth of XRP out of circulation on Sunday. Saturday alone saw $26.2 million flow into the funds, a day when Bitcoin ETFs were nursing outflows. The nine-day inflow streak continued on August 25 with approximately $23.87 million added.
