Crypto analyst Steph Is Crypto (@Steph_iscrypto) just laid out a striking XRP prediction. The analyst is linking recent comments from Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse to a projection that XRP could rise above $30,000 per token. The XRP community has taken notice, with many supporters backing the claim.

Steph pointed to Garlinghouse’s appearance at a recent CFTC Innovation Advisory Committee meeting as a catalyst for the outlook. The analyst argues that the regulatory shift now underway in the U.S. carries significant weight for XRP’s long-term price potential.

Garlinghouse’s Comments at the CFTC Meeting

Garlinghouse used his time at the committee meeting to speak about Ripple’s legal history and the current regulatory environment. He told attendees that Ripple spent $150 million on outside legal counsel during a four-year battle with the SEC under the previous administration.

He described the experience as being “at the center of the bullseye of the SEC’s lawfare.” He noted that most companies would not have survived that pressure, and that others were bullied into submission before ever facing a lawsuit.

His tone at the meeting was notably different. “What a difference leadership makes,” he said, crediting the current administration along with the CFTC and SEC for the shift. He argued that clear regulatory rules are necessary to protect users and to give responsible businesses the certainty to build in the U.S.
