No need to worry about a lack of kindred spirits on the journey—there are companions along the way. Hello, everyone! I’m King of Coins from Bitsheng Group. Thank you for joining me to read and watch my articles and videos. Every day I bring you fresh news from the crypto world and precise market analysis. Yesterday, on the very first day of updates, I shared a take-profit strategy, and indeed events unfolded just as I predicted: the market was overall lukewarm, maintaining a sideways to mild decline with poor trading volumes. Looking at the current situation, improvement seems unlikely. Right now, the only news worth paying attention to is derivatives settlement—over 1.4 billion dollars in crypto options expire today, with Bitcoin options accounting for roughly 1.28 billion and the maximum pain point at 64,000; Ethereum options total 161 million, with the maximum pain point at 1,900. Normally, prices tend to move toward their maximum pain point before expiry, and volatility is suppressed. Currently, the bullish positions are focused above 68,000, but it’s unlikely to reach that level in the short term as the momentum is too weak.

Let’s look at the short-term chart. Bitcoin has closed five consecutive bearish candles on the daily, and yesterday formed a doji at the bottom. It looks like there’s a chance for a rebound, but the pain point for options settlement at 64,000 is limiting upside. Any rebound stops right at this level. Over the weekend, it’s unlikely Bitcoin will break above 64,000 again—it needs 2-3 days to build momentum. There’s a key support near 62,500 below, but indicators show that downward momentum isn’t strong, and there’s further support at the previous low of 62,200. I personally still see the market moving sideways in consolidation. As for trading suggestions: consider short positions above 64,000, targeting 62,500, with a stop-loss at 64,600. For long positions, try a small position at 62,500 with a stop-loss at 62,000 and a target at 63,800. If the long is unexpectedly stopped out, only focus on shorting afterward with a target at 58,000.
