Bitcoin price falls to $84,000

The prices of major assets in the cryptocurrency market have declined over the past 24 hours, APA-Economics reports.

According to data from the CoinMarketCap platform, the price of Bitcoin fell by 2.51% over the past 24 hours to $84,326.17. However, the cryptocurrency has gained 10.51% over the past seven days and 4.36% over the past 30 days.

Ethereum fell by 2.65% to $2,685.42. The asset has risen by 10.62% over the past seven days.

Zcash declined by 5.95% over the past 24 hours to $1,516.64, although it has gained 76.39% over the past 30 days. BNB fell by 2.23% to $773.61, while Monero dropped by 1.85% to $556.03.

Unlike other major assets, Bitcoin Cash rose by 0.39% over the past 24 hours to $341.39. The cryptocurrency has gained 54.69% over the past seven days.

The CoinMarketCap 20 Index fell by 2.91% over the past 24 hours to 174.98 points.

Analysts say the market decline is linked to investors taking profits following the rapid price increases observed in recent days, as well as a short-term correction. At the same time, the continued positive weekly performance of major cryptocurrencies indicates that overall interest in the market remains strong.
