Bitcoin may have passed through its worst stretch and could climb to $150,000 by the end of 2027, Walter Bloomberg reported on Aug. 31.
CK Zheng, former head of global valuation risk at Credit Suisse, said most of Bitcoin's decline may already be over and set a price target of $150,000 for the end of 2027.
Greater regulatory clarity for digital assets, broader institutional adoption and the potential passage of the CLARITY Act, a US crypto market-structure bill, could drive the next upcycle, he said.
Zheng also said Bitcoin and gold could benefit as rising US government debt increases demand for hedges against a weaker dollar.
Bitcoin was trading at $78,880 on Binance's USDT market as of 3:26 a.m. on Sept. 1, up 0.04% from a day earlier.
