How will artificial intelligence change the agriculture industry? That’s a question you’ll find a lot of people asking these days. And of course the answer is complex, nuanced, and largely uncertain at this point. But SWAM Engineering CEO Shail Khiyara, has many years of experience in AI and decision intelligence says he sees very two big opportunities for this disruptive technology to make a difference in ag.
Khiyara… “ There's a lot of knowledge leakage that I believe is happening in the industry, particularly around people with twenty, thirty years of experience. And when that person retires the operation doesn't lose a job, it loses a library that nobody ever had a chance to copy. So AI can really help bridge that gap and make sure that the thirty years of experience doesn't retire with them. The other aspect of the benefit is around being able to take large volumes of combinatorial data related to various different simultaneous things that are happening in your business and be able to give you decisions that still require a human to take a look at, but you're weighing the best possible options that are available to your business.”
SWARM Engineering is a decision intelligence company focused on helping the operator make better decisions in the ag space.
