Strategy, the company associated with Michael Saylor, has sold another 1,690 bitcoin, according to a report originally published by The Block. The sale comes as the company’s U.S. dollar reserve reached $4.65 billion.

Bitcoin is the largest cryptocurrency by market recognition and is commonly held by companies, funds and individuals as a treasury or investment asset. Strategy has become closely associated with a corporate approach centered on bitcoin holdings, making changes to its position closely watched by digital-asset markets and investors.

The reported transaction highlights the balance between bitcoin exposure and dollar liquidity in a corporate treasury strategy. A larger USD reserve can provide cash flexibility, while bitcoin sales reduce the amount of the cryptocurrency held by the company.

The development is notable because Strategy’s bitcoin activity has long been a prominent example of public-company participation in the cryptocurrency market. The Block reported the latest sale alongside the $4.65 billion USD reserve figure.
