Strategy Raises Capital to Expand Bitcoin Holdings

On August 31, 2026, Strategy reported that between August 24 and August 30 it raised $602.8 million in net proceeds through at-the-market sales of 4,531,421 shares of its MSTR Stock, while leaving substantial capacity to issue additional preferred and common securities. The company directed these proceeds toward funding STRC dividends, bitcoin purchases, repurchases of STRC under its Digital Credit Securities Repurchase Program, and bolstering its USD Cash liquidity.

During the same period, Strategy purchased 4,603 bitcoin for $369.7 million, bringing its total holdings to 845,050 BTC acquired at an aggregate purchase price of $63.73 billion, underscoring its role as a major corporate bitcoin holder. It also repurchased 1,557,177 STRC shares for $151.8 million, while maintaining $364.8 million in remaining preferred stock buyback capacity and $1.0 billion for MSTR Stock repurchases, and disclosed that as of August 30 its USD Reserve stood at $5.10 billion and USD Cash at $1.61 billion, supported by proceeds from unsettled ATM share sales.

Strategy also highlighted its online dashboard as a key disclosure channel for providing public access to data on its securities, bitcoin activity, and performance metrics, in line with Regulation FD requirements and its broader transparency efforts.
