Wallets linked to crypto market maker Wintermute have deposited roughly 5,100 Bitcoin — valued at approximately $399 million — to Binance over the past two days, according to blockchain tracking platform Onchain Lens. Exchange deposits of this size are often interpreted by traders as a signal of intent to sell, though market makers routinely move assets for liquidity and operational purposes as well.

On-Chain Data Reveals Large Transfer

The transfers were identified by Onchain Lens, which flagged multiple wallet addresses believed to be associated with Wintermute. Over a 48-hour window, these addresses sent a cumulative 5,100 BTC to Binance, making it one of the larger single-market-maker moves observed this quarter. The deposits were spread across several transactions, each ranging from a few hundred to over a thousand Bitcoin.
