SEALSQ (LAES) and wolfSSL announced wolfTPM support for the SEALSQ QVault TPM, integrating hardware-based post-quantum security with the TPM 2.0 v1.85 standard.
The QVault TPM is described as on track to be the first shipping TPM 2.0 device with silicon-implemented post-quantum algorithms, including ML-DSA and ML-KEM. The integration adds dedicated QVault support to wolfTPM, such as manufacturer detection, SPI configuration, a new pqc_ctrl tool, examples and hardware benchmarks. Testing on physical QVault hardware and in wolfSSL’s firmware TPM environment covered ML-DSA signing/verification and ML-KEM encapsulation/decapsulation at all key strengths. The integrated resources are available via the wolfTPM GitHub repository.
