Aeon Strategies Pushes Back Annual Filing Deadline Amid Complex Crypto Audit

Aeon Strategies Ltd. has revised the expected filing date for its audited annual financial statements for the year ended June 30, 2026, now targeting completion by December 31, 2026 after its auditor indicated more time is needed. The delay stems from limited auditor availability and the added complexity of auditing the company’s crypto-related investments compared with prior years.

To manage the impact of the late filings, Aeon has applied to the Ontario Securities Commission for a management cease trade order that would restrict trading by its CEO and CFO until the statements are filed, while generally permitting other shareholders to continue trading. The company also plans to issue bi-weekly default status reports under Canadian securities guidelines for as long as the annual filings remain outstanding, signaling ongoing regulatory compliance efforts during the delay period.
