Bitcoin (BTC) spot ETFs posted $390 million in weekly net outflows, while several smaller altcoin funds attracted fresh capital.

Key Points:

  • Bitcoin spot ETFs recorded $390 million in net outflows last week, with Fidelity’s FBTC and BlackRock’s IBIT leading redemptions.
  • Solana, XRP and HYPE ETFs posted inflows, while Ethereum funds ended the week slightly negative.
  • The split suggests uneven crypto ETF demand rather than a broad return to risk.

Bitcoin ETF Outflows

Data from SoSoValue showed Bitcoin ETFs lost $390 million over the week, reversing a recently revived inflow streak as Bitcoin struggled below $65,000. Fidelity’s FBTC recorded $153.1 million in outflows, while BlackRock’s IBIT followed with $129.1 million.

Morgan Stanley’s MSBT also weakened, posting $7.1 million in weekly outflows after previously maintaining inflows during periods when the broader Bitcoin ETF group was losing assets. Bitcoin fell from about $64,000 to $63,256.11 over the same period, remaining below the $65,000 resistance level cited in the report. Institutional exposure did not move in one direction.

Tudor Investment, owned by Paul Tudor Jones, increased its IBIT holdings by 19% in the second quarter to 688,529 shares worth about $23 million, while cutting reported IBIT call options by 85%.
