Boyaa Interactive Doubles Down on Bitcoin as Holdings Approach HK$3 Billion, Shares Surge Over 11%

Bitcoin prices continued to climb after U.S. regulators signaled a friendlier stance toward digital assets, lifting cryptocurrency-related stocks across the Hong Kong market. Boyaa Interactive (00434.HK) emerged as a standout after disclosing another round of Bitcoin purchases, with its shares surging more than 12% intraday on the 22nd.

Boyaa Interactive announced on the evening of the 21st that it had purchased approximately 152 Bitcoin on the open market over the past week for a total consideration of approximately HK$90.63 million (approximately NT$370 million), at an average cost of approximately $75,899 per coin (approximately NT$2.4 million). Following the transaction, the group's cumulative holdings reached approximately 4,468 Bitcoin, with the average holding cost reduced to approximately $68,543 per coin (approximately NT$2.2 million). The company stated that the purchase was funded by idle cash reserves generated from business operations.

Following the announcement, Boyaa Interactive's shares opened 4.01% higher on the 22nd and extended gains throughout the session, reaching an intraday high of HK$3.495, up 12.02%, with turnover of approximately HK$9.277 million (approximately NT$37 million). With Bitcoin trading above the $85,000 level, the market value of Boyaa's Bitcoin holdings has approached HK$3 billion (approximately NT$12 billion), compared with the company's latest market capitalization of approximately HK$2.6 billion (approximately NT$11 billion)—still representing a notable discount.
