A recent SEC filing lists the ProShares XRP ETF under series S000091571 and the ProShares Ultra XRP ETF under S000091573. The distinction is important: the filing is not a fresh SEC approval of a new spot XRP ETF, but it does show XRP becoming embedded more deeply within established U.S. fund complexes.
ProShares’ leveraged product is already live. The Ultra XRP ETF, ticker UXRP, launched in July 2025 and targets 2x the daily performance of XRP through derivatives rather than holding the token directly. ProShares reported net assets of roughly $50 million in late August.
Leveraged XRP Is Already an Established Product
UXRP provides an important clue about how traditional finance is approaching the asset.
The fund uses XRP futures and other derivatives to seek twice the token’s daily return. Because leverage resets every session, longer-term performance can diverge significantly from simply doubling XRP’s price move, particularly during volatile periods.
SEC records already identified UXRP as an existing fund series earlier this year, with the regulator’s July filing listing both the fund and its ticker.
