U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs attracted about $217 million on Aug. 31, reversing the roughly $202 million outflow recorded in the previous session, according to Farside Investors and SoSoValue data. BlackRock’s IBIT accounted for approximately $205.9 million of Monday’s total.
The rebound came after Friday’s withdrawals ended a nine-session inflow streak that had brought roughly $3 billion into Bitcoin funds. Coinpaper examined that nine-day buying run as one of Bitcoin’s strongest institutional-demand periods of 2026.
But Bitcoin is no longer the only ETF story attracting capital.
Solana ETF Growth Adds a New Institutional Milestone
Solana is emerging as one of the clearest signs that crypto ETF demand is expanding into alternative assets.
The Bitwise Solana Staking ETF, or BSOL, crossed $1 billion in assets under management on Aug. 28, just 10 months after launch. That made it the first U.S. Solana ETF to reach the billion-dollar threshold.
The milestone is particularly notable because it arrived while SOL remained far below its January 2025 all-time high.
