XRP Could Overtake Bitcoin, Analyst Says: 'Life Happens Fast'

Analyst Rob Cunningham says XRP (CRYPTO: XRP) could overtake Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) if enough capital moving onto the XRP Ledger actually converts into XRP itself.

What Cunningham’s Thought Experiment Shows

Widely-followed crypto analyst Cunningham posted on X Wednesday that $10 trillion migrating onto the XRP Ledger could support a multi-trillion-dollar XRP valuation, but only under one condition: substantial capital must also need to acquire and hold XRP itself, not just pass through the ledger.

The math depends on three unknowns:

• How much new capital actually converts into XRP
• How long that capital stays in XRP
• How much liquidity sellers provide as price rises

Cunningham pointed to a striking historical ratio to show the leverage effect: a net capital inflow of just $66 million to purchase XRP once triggered an approximate $45 billion increase in XRP’s overall valuation, a multiplier north of 600x. 

He framed this as a thought exercise rather than a prediction, noting Bitcoin’s market value currently sits roughly 17 times larger than XRP’s. 

“Life happens fast,” Cunningham wrote. “Especially during revolutionary times,” he added.
