What’s interesting is that September has historically been a rough month for bitcoin ($BTC) prices, while October has more often delivered a green market.

The leading crypto asset has staged a powerful performance over the last week, crossing the 50-period weekly moving average (MA) before extending Monday’s intraday run to $87,374. The advance also ripped through a heavily watched $83,000 to $86,000 liquidation zone, forcing hundreds of millions of dollars in bearish positions out of the market. U.S. spot bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) recorded $433 million in net inflows on Friday, Sept. 18, while Strategy revealed Monday that it acquired another 950 $BTC last week, lifting its enormous stash to 846,000 $BTC.
