The bitcoin price slipped below $64,000 this week after spot ETFs recorded $192 million in two straight days of outflows and the July CPI report landed flat. BITCOIN now trades nearly 50% below its October 2025 high above $126,000, and the market is watching whether the Fed shifts before year end.
While that range holds, a presale from a Pepe cofounder has already pulled in more than $10.6M from wallets locking positions before the expected Binance listing opens.
BITCOIN Drops After CPI as ETF Capital Exits
Spot BITCOIN ETFs lost $131 million on August 13 alone, with ARK Invest and Fidelity leading withdrawals according to CoinDesk. The previous week had brought $853 million in inflows led by BlackRock, but that entire run reversed in two sessions. July CPI came in at 0.1% monthly and 3.4% annual, but the number gave no push for risk assets.
BITCOIN sits trapped between price levels near $63,000 and $68,700, and every move toward the upper end meets sellers exiting at breakeven. The bitcoin price needs fresh demand above $65,000 to escape the box that has held since early August.
