BitFuFu Wins CFIUS Clearance for Oklahoma Bitcoin Mining Acquisition Under Security Agreement

BitFuFu ( (FUFU) ) has issued an announcement.

On February 19, 2025, BitFuFu agreed to acquire a 51% stake in Uni-Titan LLC, owner of a 51-megawatt Bitcoin mining facility in Oklahoma, and formally notified the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States on December 22, 2025. Following completion of the review, the company received written confirmation on September 28, 2026, that the deal posed no unresolved national security concerns.

As part of the clearance, BitFuFu and its affiliates entered into a national security agreement with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the Department of the Treasury, acting as CFIUS monitoring agencies. The agreement restricts use of the Oklahoma facility to specified crypto mining operations, limits deployment of certain advanced computing hardware, subjects improvements and equipment changes to government oversight, and establishes an ongoing compliance framework that will shape BitFuFu’s U.S. mining operations over time.
