Institutional Holdings and Collateral Usage
Charles Schwab’s Form N-MFP3 filing for the Schwab Prime Advantage Money Fund included explicit mention of XRP-related ETFs held as collateral. The documentation showed that Grayscale XRP Trust ETF shares held as collateral totaled approximately $1.01 million.
The same filing listed about $3.06 million in Canary XRP ETF shares and around $702,000 in Franklin XRP ETF shares. Combined, the three ETF positions reached roughly $4.8 million worth of collateralized holdings.
It is important to clarify that the presence of XRP ETF shares as collateral does not mean Schwab purchased these ETF shares for its money market fund. These positions may represent securities posted as collateral in lending arrangements or other financial operations.
Beyond Schwab’s disclosures, Clear Creek Financial Management reported holding 11,621 shares of the Bitwise XRP ETF as of June 30. Leisure Capital Management included 16,745 shares of Franklin XRP ETF in its second quarter portfolio.
