The U.S. continued to account for the bulk of the selling, with $347 million in outflows from American funds last week.

Crypto News

Digital asset investment products recorded $288 million in net outflows last week, marking a fifth consecutive week of redemptions and pushing the five-week cumulative total to approximately $4 billion,

to a CoinShares report published Monday. Weekly trading volumes across crypto exchange-traded products fell to $17 billion, the lowest level since July 2025. CoinShares Head of Research James Butterfill described the environment as one of "growing investor apathy."

The U.S. continued to account for the bulk of the selling, with $347 million in outflows from American funds last week. European and Canadian investors moved in the opposite direction, collectively posting $59 million in inflows. Switzerland led that group with $19.5 million, followed by Canada at $16.8 million and Germany at $16.2 million, suggesting some overseas buyers view the current price weakness as a buying opportunity rather than a reason to exit.

focused products drove $215 million of last week's outflows, continuing a pattern that has persisted for several weeks. Short-Bitcoin products, by contrast, attracted $5.5 million in inflows, the largest inflow of any single asset class in the period, signaling that a portion of the market is actively positioning for further downside in Bitcoin rather than simply moving to the sidelines.
