) miner operating with a 70-terahash-per-second setup collected the full reward for mining block 944,306 early Thursday, earning 3.128 Bitcoin valued at $222,012.

on X to confirm the find. He noted that a miner operating at 70 terahashes per second faces roughly a 1-in-100,000 chance of solving a block on any given day. Statistically, a miner at that hashrate would expect to find a block once every 300 years.

The 70 TH/s hashrate is equivalent to the output of a single 2019-era Bitmain Antminer S17+ machine. It represents approximately 0.0000069% of the Bitcoin network's total

hashrate of 1.02 zettahashes per second as of April 9, per Mempool. For comparison, public miner Bitdeer operates at roughly 71 exahashes per second, and MARA Holdings runs approximately 61.7 exahashes per second, based on each company's recent disclosures.
