Strategy’s Michael Saylor Says Bitcoin Bull Market Is Just Beginning

Michael Saylor, the chairman of serial cryptocurrency acquirer Strategy (NASDAQ: $MSTR) says a new bull market in Bitcoin (CRYPTO: $BTC) has only just begun.

In a media interview, Saylor said that Bitcoin's price would again surpass $100,000 U.S., adding that his "long-term forecast is Bitcoin grows 20% to 30% a year over the next 20 years."

He added that restrictive trade, foreign, currency, and monetary policies have held the price of BTC and other cryptocurrencies down over the past year.

However, Bitcoin is now moving higher and has tailwinds, including a favorable regulatory environment, faster bank adoption, and an expanding market for digital assets.

The comments from Saylor come after Bitcoin endured a prolonged "crypto winter" that lasted from October 2025 to the end of June this year.

In the year's third quarter, BTC rallied 42%, outperforming all other asset classes. Bitcoin's price moved from below $65,000 U.S. to above $85,000 U.S.

Saylor said it is only a matter of time before BTC again crosses the $100,000 U.S. mark.

"I think we hit the bottom around slightly below $60,000. I think we bounced off it. Now we're moving up into the eighties. I think we'll continue to march forward from here," he said.
