XRP ETF Appears In National Bank Of Canada’s $111K Crypto Fund Disclosure Yellow.com

National Bank of Canada disclosed small positions in an XRP (XRP) ETF and four Bitcoin (BTC) funds, totaling about $111,240 at Jun. 30, SEC records show.

Key Points:

  • The SEC filing lists 330 Bitwise XRP ETF shares worth $3,848 and 5,310 ProShares Bitcoin ETF shares worth $42,321.
  • The five crypto fund positions were worth about $111,240 combined at quarter-end.
  • Grayscale’s XRP trust separately sold 103.41 million XRP worth $180.78 million during the first half of 2026 to meet redemptions.

XRP ETF Holdings

The bank’s Form 13F filing shows 330 shares of the Bitwise XRP ETF valued at $3,848. Its largest of these five positions was 5,310 shares of the ProShares Bitcoin ETF, worth $42,321.

It also reported 1,090 shares of the Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund worth $55,644, plus 150 shares of the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust ETF valued at $6,831. The bank held another 100 shares of the Grayscale Bitcoin Mini Trust ETF, valued at $2,596.

Together, the five positions were worth $111,240 based on the filing. Form 13F reports fair-market value in one column and the number of shares in the next, so the disclosure shows crypto fund exposure measured in thousands of dollars, not millions.

Grayscale XRP Sales

The bank’s disclosure came days after Grayscale’s XRP Trust ETF reported heavy redemption activity during the first half of 2026. The trust sold 103.41 million XRP valued at $180.78 million to meet share redemptions and recorded a $34.16 million realized loss on those sales.

The two filings describe different types of activity.

National Bank of Canada reported securities positions held at quarter-end, while Grayscale reported creations, redemptions and changes inside its XRP fund, so the figures do not represent the same measure of institutional demand.

Grayscale began 2026 with 122.23 million XRP and held 55.04 million by Jun. 30, while net assets fell from $223.36 million to $57.41 million. XRP also declined from $1.84 on Jan. 1 to $1.05 on Jun. 30, a drop of more than 40%.
