Historical data point to an 18% to 26% gain over the next 13 weeks and a potential move above $100,000 by year-end.
Why $100,000 Is Back in Play
Widely-followed market commentator Krown noted that Bitcoin’s three consecutive green weeks has occurred 47 times since 2012.
Historically, Bitcoin was higher 63% of the time two and four weeks after the signal. The probability improves over longer periods, rising to 65% after eight weeks, 71% after 13 weeks and 75% after 26 weeks.
The median 13-week return was nearly 26%, which from current levels would put Bitcoin around $108,000 by year-end.
Using data since 2018 only produces a more conservative return of roughly 18%, but that would still take Bitcoin above six figures.
Data suggests Bitcoin has a higher probability of reaching $100,000 than not before the end of 2026, Krown pointed out in a podcast on Oct. 5.
Weekly Close Also Points to Bullish Signal
Bitcoin also registered its highest weekly close in 35 weeks, providing another historically bullish signal.
Previous occurrences showed BTC finishing higher 65%, 70% and 75% of the time across progressively longer time frames, with median returns approaching 40% over 26 weeks.
