Bitcoin market sentiment and supply-demand conditions have improved as concerns over Strategy’s potential selling eased and spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) resumed inflows, according to a recent analysis by Bitfinex.

The exchange noted that Strategy neither bought nor sold Bitcoin last week, instead securing net proceeds and U.S. dollar reserves through common stock sales. This significantly reduced the selling pressure tied to Strategy’s BTC holdings, which had been a key overhang on the market.

Strategy’s Position and Its Impact on Bitcoin

Strategy, formerly MicroStrategy, is one of the largest corporate holders of Bitcoin. Its buying and selling activities are closely watched by investors because large-scale disposals could flood the market and push prices down. The company’s decision to pause Bitcoin purchases last week, while raising capital through stock sales, was interpreted as a move to strengthen its cash position without liquidating its crypto assets.

Bitfinex highlighted that Strategy has indicated plans to resume Bitcoin purchases in the future. This forward-looking statement has helped reassure investors that the company remains committed to its Bitcoin accumulation strategy, even as it manages its balance sheet.
