Bitcoin's market is flashing a split personality. On one side, large traders are aggressively building leveraged long positions on the decentralized exchange Hyperliquid, even as spot buyers remain hesitant. On the other, Binance founder Changpeng Zhao is warning that the coin's fixed supply is so scarce that even millionaires may soon find it difficult to own a full bitcoin.

Bitcoin is trading near $63,030, down roughly 46% over the past year and far below its October 2025 record of $126,080. Technical indicators reflect the uncertainty. The 50-day and 200-day exponential moving averages still point to a bearish structure, but the MACD has printed a bullish crossover, suggesting momentum may be building. The RSI remains neutral, leaving traders without a clear directional signal.

On Hyperliquid, whale long positions have climbed sharply and reached a peak around key resistance levels. The buildup signals that leveraged traders expect a breakout. Yet spot demand has not kept pace, creating a divergence that analysts often view as a warning sign. If bitcoin clears resistance, those whale positions could pay off handsomely. If it fails, the crowded trade could unwind quickly.

Changpeng Zhao, known as CZ, framed the supply picture in stark terms on X. The United States alone has about 23.6 million millionaires, according to the UBS Global Wealth Report 2026. Globally, the figure reaches 57.5 million. Bitcoin's hard cap is 21 million coins, and miners have already produced about 20.07 million. That leaves only 4.4 percent of the total supply left to be mined, and the final coins will not arrive quickly. Because halving events cut the block reward every four years, the last bitcoin is not expected to be mined until around 2140.
