Cathie Wood's weekly recap: buys $25M of CoreWeave, trims $40M in Bitcoin ETF

Cathie Wood’s Ark Invest made several large portfolio moves last week, adding to CoreWeave CRWV while increasing exposure to healthcare and trimming positions across crypto, genomics and technology.

In AI and cloud infrastructure, Ark bought ~239K shares of CoreWeave CRWV worth about $24.7M, while adding around 11K shares of Meta Platforms META for $7.25M. The firm also sold ~87K shares of Tempus AI TEM worth $5.2M and 34.5K shares of Palantir Technologies PLTR for $5.9M.

In healthcare and biotechnology, Ark bought Ionis Pharmaceuticals IONS for about $8.90M and Guardant Health GH for $9.3M. It also made a smaller addition to Scribe Therapeutics SSCTX. On the selling side, the firm cut ~322K shares in 10x Genomics TXG by $21.8M, Illumina ILMN by $1.9M and GeneDx Holdings WGS by $2M.

In crypto and fintech, Ark sold 1.53M shares of the ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF ARKB worth about $39.8M, marking its largest sale of the week. The firm also reduced Circle Internet CRCL by $13.5M, Coinbase Global COIN by $6.8M and a smaller reduction in Bullish BLSH.

In other technology holdings, Ark sold Advanced Micro Devices AMD worth ~$10M, Alphabet GOOG by $13.1M, and Shopify SHOP by $6.5M. It also made a smaller reduction to Twist Bioscience TWST.
