From October 5 to 9, 2026, U.S. spot crypto ETFs for Bitcoin and Ethereum ended five trading sessions with a combined outflow of over $1.22 billion, according to SoSoValue data. Investors withdrew $681.1 million from bitcoin funds and $542.07 million from Ethereum ETFs. Among funds for other crypto assets, NEAR ETFs showed the best results, while Hong Kong spot bitcoin ETFs also closed the week in the red.

Bitcoin ETFs in the U.S. Lost $681.1 Million

Spot ETFs for Bitcoin traded in the U.S. were under pressure for most of the week. Outflows were recorded on three out of five trading days, with the most significant losses occurring on October 7 and 8.

  • October 8 — outflow of $244.13 million;
  • October 9 — inflow of $21.13 million.

The largest daily withdrawal occurred on October 7, when investors pulled $487.07 million from bitcoin ETFs. Among individual products, FBTC by Fidelity showed the largest losses with an outflow of $380.36 million, and ARKB by Ark & 21Shares saw $207.21 million withdrawn.
