Harvard University left its Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) exchange-traded fund (ETF) position unchanged in the second quarter, according to its latest 13F filing released Friday.

Harvard Holds Bitcoin ETF Position Steady

Harvard Management Co., a wholly owned subsidiary of Harvard University that manages its financial assets, reported holding 3.04 million shares of the iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (NASDAQ:IBIT) as of June 30. The stake was worth $101.35 million based on IBIT’s price of 33.29 on June 30.

Harvard slashed its Bitcoin ETF stake significantly in the first quarter

What was previously Harvard’s top position, IBIT has slipped to eleventh place and currently represents 2.38% of the portfolio. Harvard bought the ETF first during the second quarter of 2025.

Meanwhile, Harvard bought no new stake in the spot Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH) ETF after liquidating the position entirely in the first quarter.

Harvard’s Hottest New Pick: SpaceX

Harvard also disclosed a $2.2 billion stake in Space Exploration Technologies Corp. (NASDAQ:SPCX).

The stake makes SpaceX Harvard’s largest holding, well ahead of its next-largest positions in Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN), Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co Ltd. (NYSE:TSM), Cerebras Systems Inc (NASDAQ:CBRS) and Nvidia Corp. (NASDAQ:NVDA).

Price Action: At the time of writing, BTC was exchanging hands at $63,355.81, up 0.57% in the last 24 hours, according to data from Benzinga Pro.
